this weeks diva challenge was to use 2  tangles   tipple and  knights bridge    I enjoyed do this one and I made time to do while out enjoying the  sun  the other day it was warm out for a change wont be many of these days left to enjoy for a while next summer. 

 

 

I used water colour pencil to colour in the green areas   I  liked the effect it gave to it

As usual  I am behind in posting my tangles for the challenges  even though I do do them each week or try to  sometimes I don't get the finished in time to enter but I will post them any how.  I really enjoy do them all.

This is a blanket that I made  using  yarn that I had  on hand  and that I am trying to use up  only bought some more of the main colour to finish it  the pattern is from red heart  . There was a challenge for this over the summer but  I was busy making other things so didn't have it done on time for the dead line . this was a very easy pattern to do and it did work up quickly.

Hi  sorry I have been busy with things and haven't had time to post any thing lately . I have been keeping up with the challenges but haven't had time to post them either. I have also finished the blanket that I was working  on and have now started on my daughters sweater, I have the main body of it almost completed  to where you   start the arm holes. I have also found another site that has templates  that you can tangle and or do what doodling in them that you wish.

I have looking at all the patterns that are for free on the different sites , there are so many . I fine the very small  armigiarn ones very interesting  and cant wait to try some of them . I have been crocheting since  I was 9 or so and it is still the one I enjoy the most .I will post a picture of the blanket that I am making  when I get it finished hope that it will be this week but who knows .

  I was busy with my grandkids all of last week . we spent most of the time out on the deck  as they love to swim.  I also did some tangling  as they both enjoy doing crafts. I also  was doing some gardening  with them and in the evenings I was crocheting on a blanket .  It was really nice having them here they sure keep you busy. I have also been following all the tangle changelles  wishing that I would get mine done in time to post them , oh well I will keep trying  to get them completed on time.   My daughter has picked out some yarn  so that I can knit her a sweater. I hope to start it  this week.

 I am still busy with things . Hope everyone is also enjoying the summer or what is left o it . I have been weeding out my flower beds and also been knitting . as well as doing the tangles challenges and the zendala  dares just haven t had time to post. I have also been sorting out my granddaughters toys  this past week or so.  This  is a sweater that I made for myself as a cover up for my swimming suit  and I also mad one for my sons friend. This was a very easy top to make as it is done on round needles and is made with a cotton yarn. 

Hi  everyone

I have been very busy and haven't had time to add to my blog.
 I spent a week or so getting ready for my sister wedding recieption  which we did her at home. I had all of the baking and food to get ready my daughter helped me to  do the cake I baked it and she decorated it  I helped her with some of it.  Every thing  turned out well.  I then have spent the last week or so tiding up the house .  I have been knitting  and doing the tangles  in the evenings  for a bit  I just haven't had time to post any pics  to the sites.  I finished up a sweater for my sons friend and one for my daughters friends son .  I am now starting and crochet blanket .   In between all of this I have been busy with outside and the inside work among other things that has kept me busy.


I am looking forward  to some  down time so that I  can just enjoy my grandkids  before school starts for them.  The weather has been cold for the past week or so, I hope it warms up so  that the pool will be warmer for swimming with them.


I will add the tangle picts for the challenges that have gone by   and then get to the current ones. I will also post some of the other picts  that I have done lately.

Card Making

 Card making is another craft that i have start in the late fall of 2012 I really enjoy making all the different cards  for all  of the speacial  times that people  like to give them for .  I have done  a lot of types and shapes  and as they are hand made  they turnout  different . I have found  a web site to download them from . I will post the link  before long for those of you that are interrested.  I also sell these cards.   I will be post the cards the  prices shortly.  

Tangles

I have been doing tangles  or as they are also call zentangles  they  also are a form of relaxing  .   I have been doing them since the spring of  2012  and  enjoy doing them.   They are patterns that repeat .  they are found on a lot of differnt sites and blogs. I will post some that i have done .

I have been busy knitting a sweater  for my sons friend  she picked out the colours and the pattern.  I started it after christmas and finished  it in febuary   she really liked it  and it fit her well.
